Description: Our nineteenth-century Scottish castle stands in its own grounds beside Loch Fyne, 3/4 mile from the A83 Inveraray to Lochgilphead road. Minard Castle is 13 miles (20km) south-west of Inveraray - an ancient stronghold of the Campbell Clan - which is noted for its castle and historic jail. Other local attractions include the Auchindrain Folk Museum, Crarae Garden, and two golf courses.
A peaceful location for a quiet break, guests can stroll in the extensive grounds, walk by the loch, explore the woods, or use Minard Castle as a base for touring this scenic area with its lochs, hills, gardens, castles and other historic sites.
The comfortable bedrooms have television, facilities for making tea and coffee, and en suite bathrooms. One room, on the ground floor, is suitable for disabled guests. Enjoy breakfast in the Morning Room and relax in the Drawing
